WEDDING INSURANCE 101
The Reception location is requesting a Certificate of Insurance, how do we get this?
When you purchase personal liability coverage, an Additional Insured endorsement and Certificate Of Insurance will be issued at the time of purchase. X
Does the Personal Liability include Property Damage Liability?
Yes. Of special importance to you and to the event sites, liability coverage available on this policy which is not available on other liability policies would include
Property Damage Liability (subject to deductible) for certain property in your care, custody or control. This very exclusive CARE, CUSTODY OR CONTROL COVERAGE includes Property Damage
Liability resulting from damage to the premises which you hire as the sites where the covered events are to take place. Most, if not all homeowners insurance policies and Commercial
General Liability policies specifically exclude (do not cover) Property Damage Liability to any property in your care, custody or control or, to any property which is occupied or used
by you or leased or rented to you. Host Liquor Liability is included. X
Does Personal Liability cover Medical Payments?
Medical Payments coverage will pay up to the amount selected of reasonable medical expenses for each person who is injured during the covered events from a cause
of loss which would be covered by the Personal Liability. X
Is weather covered?
If the policy is purchased 14 or more days from the date of the event and adverse weather prevents the bride, groom, or for other private event types, the Honoree,
or any relative whose presence at the wedding or private event is essential or, the majority of the guests from reaching the premises where the wedding, private event or reception is
to take place the costs of rescheduling the event are covered. Be aware that dark skies and light rainfall alone won't qualify as reason enough to cancel your wedding. If you’re having

What happens if the bride or another person crucial to the wedding gets sick and can't attend the wedding?
If people crucial to the event such as the bride or groom or anyone essential to the wedding or private event are unable to attend due to sickness or injury the event
is covered up to the coverage limit that you select. This is also true if the caterer or officiant fails to appear on your wedding day. X
What happens if the photographer doesn't show up?
Photographs and videographer coverage will pay up to the limit that you select and subject to the selected deductible, to retake photographs or video, if the photographer
fails to appear for any reason or, the original negatives are lost, damaged, stolen or not properly developed. This coverage will pay the round trip air or auto travel expenses incurred
by the bride, the groom, or for other private event types, the Honoree, and their immediate families and attendants, to reassemble for the ceremony pictures to be retaken. It will also
pay costs for meals and lodging while traveling, costs to rehire a photographer, costs to rent a premises to stage the ceremony pictures, costs to buy a new wedding cake, costs to buy
new flowers, and costs to rent necessary wedding or special attire. X
Are gifts covered if they are lost, stolen or damaged?
We cover gifts against physical loss or damage that results during the policy period from a cause of loss not excluded. Gifts mean any item of personal property
which is given to the Honoree in connection with the Private Event. X
Is any Wedding Party clothing covered if it's damaged, lost or stolen?
If purchased, Special Attire coverage will pay to repair or replace the bridal gown and other special attire, including clothing and accessories bought or rented
and to be worn by the bride, the groom, and their attendants at the wedding when it is lost, stolen or damaged. X
What happens if I lose my Jewelry?
If purchased, Jewelry coverage will pay to repair or replace owned jewelry for which you are responsible when it is lost, stolen or damaged anywhere within the policy
territory of the U.S., its territories and possessions, and Canada. X
What if someone gets injured at our Rehearsal Dinner?
If you select the optional Personal Liability coverage (including supplemental defense) it will cover bodily injury, personal injury or property damage caused by
a covered accident which occurs during the course of a covered event such as the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony or reception. X
